Step 1: Generate an extended private key to Electrium HD
To generate an advanced private key from your Electrium HD wallet, you must do the following:
- Open Electrum HD on your computer.
- Go to the File menu and select “Wallet Information”.
- Click the Private Keys tab.
- Click the “Edit Private Key” button next to the private key you want to edit.
- Enter the following format in the “Expanded Private Key” field:
m/2 '/0"
*M: The main HD wallet address of your electricity is not recorded.
*2 ‘: Number of parents’ keys (1 standard, 2 extend).
* /: The child turns to the dashes separated. In this case, we set it to “/", which means that the expanded private key is the roots of an empty chain.
Example:m/2 ‘/0
- Click Apply and click "OK".
Step 2: Import an extended private key to mycelium
To import a generated private key to mycelium, follow the following steps:
- Go to [mycelium website] ( and log in to your account credentials.
- Click "Wallet" in the upper browsing menu.
- Select "Add New Wallet".
- Select Electrium HD from the list of supported wallets.
- Follow the calls to import your Electrium HD private key.
- Type the "M/2"/0 Extension Private Key, which we have developed earlier.
